A peaceful move.

 

This big job entailed downsizing and dividing the contents of one home to two new homes, one local and one cross-country.

What I put into it: hired short- and long-distance movers; sent out carpets and drapes for cleaning; sold items and clothes on CraigsList and eBay, donated to Housing Works, ran a stoop sale; sorted and categorized a large book collection; arranged the recycling of electronics and the shredding of documents; packed fragile items.

What my client got out of it: professional, caring help for making decisions, meeting deadlines, troubleshooting, and an overall reassurance that she was in good hands.
